Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with a departure from your hotel to the Port of Manaus. From there, you'll board a speedboat and start the tour with the phenomenal Meeting of the Waters, where the Rio Negro and Rio Solimões meet. Afterward, we'll head to the Careiro port, where a Kombi van will take us on a scenic route. During this drive, you’ll get to see the stunning Victoria Amazonica water lilies.
Next, we'll travel 57 km along the road to the port of Lago do Maçarico. Upon arrival, a short 15-minute speedboat ride will bring you to our lodge, where you'll settle in just in time for a delicious lunch served at 12:00 PM. After lunch, enjoy a restful break for 2 to 3 hours.
At 2:30 PM, we’ll head out in canoes to explore the area, followed by an exciting piranha fishing session. As the day ends, you'll witness a breathtaking sunset before we return to the lodge at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, and at 7:45 PM, we'll embark on a thrilling night canoe trip to spot caimans.
We will start the day early at 5:30 AM with a canoe trip to experience the majestic Amazon sunrise. We’ll return to the lodge by 6:30 AM, just in time for breakfast at 7:00 AM.
At 8:30 AM, we set out for a jungle hike, where our guide will introduce you to the rich biodiversity and fascinating flora of the rainforest. We’ll return to the lodge at 11:30 AM, with lunch served at noon.
At 3:30 PM, we’ll depart for a survival camping experience in the forest, where you will learn essential survival skills and spend the night in the wild.
After breakfast at the survival camp, we'll head out to spot the playful river dolphins. Next, we'll visit the towering Samaumeira tree, one of the Amazon's most impressive species. Following this, we’ll visit a local house to learn about the traditional process of making manioc flour.
We’ll return to the lodge at 11:30 AM, where lunch will be served at noon. At 3:00 PM, enjoy a leisurely afternoon of canoeing in small canoes, paddling through the tranquil waters, and taking in the serene beauty of the Amazon.
In the morning, we’ll visit a native house to gain insights into the daily lives and traditions of the local people. We’ll return to the lodge for lunch at 12:00 PM.
After lunch, we’ll depart the lodge at 1:30 PM and begin our journey back to Manaus. By 4:00 PM, you will be back in the city, concluding your unforgettable Amazon adventure.
You should pack lightweight, breathable clothing suitable for the humid climate, long-sleeved shirts and pants for protection against insects, comfortable hiking boots, a waterproof jacket, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent with DEET, a reusable water bottle, a flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries, and personal medications. Don’t forget your camera or smartphone for capturing memories.
